REFUND POLICY

REFUND POLICY: $200 of the enrollment deposit is non-refundable. $200 will be refunded if the Institute receives a written cancellation notice at least 2 weeks before the beginning of the program. The full deposit will be refunded if the Institute cannot accept a student at the time he/she wants to attend.

The fee paid for the first 4 weeks of any program, including the homestay, is non-refundable. Substituting one component for another (i.e. excursions for classes, classes for homestay, etc.) is not allowed. Students who, for any reason, withdraw from a program or any portion of it within the first 4 weeks, do so at their own expense. All refunds after the first 4 weeks will incur a 20% cancellation fee, and will be made only if the student notifies the Institute, in writing, at least 2 weeks in advance of the cancellation. Refunds are calculated on a weekly basis. There will be no partial refunds for days of class, homestay or excursions missed, nor will the student be able to make them up at a later date.Students who sign up for the Language and Excursions program, but decide later to take only the Language program will still be charged for the former unless written notification is received at least 2 weeks before the program starts.Students who request homestays, but decide later to make their own lodging arrangements will still be charged for the homestays unless the Institute receives written notification at least 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the program.

Refunds will be given at the Institute only to those students who have enrolled directly and made their payments to the Institute. Students who have signed up through a different organization must request refunds directly from them.

LATE REGISTRATION: There will be a late registration fee for applications received less than three weeks before classes begin.
